About your teacher

Lauren Gibbons, Founder/RPYT/MA  

I've been passionate about yoga for many years, but it wasn’t until moving through the challenging yet rewarding journey of pregnancy, birth and postpartum that I felt drawn to work with other mamas and mamas-to-be. 

Mothers spend a majority of their time caring for others, often neglecting their own needs. I enjoy serving and caring for this population of students and teaching them how to better care for themselves through yoga and meditation, so they can move through motherhood with more grace. 

I've coached hundreds of women across the Chicagoland area and in my online programs, through the transformative experiences of pregnancy and early motherhood. I help my students gain strength and energy,  rebuild their cores and learn to love their powerful new bodies. 

I am a Certified Yoga Teacher (RYT), Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga instructor (RPYT), Postnatal Fitness Specialist and have an MA in Communications.
